Switch off, let go of perfection and spend an afternoon creating your own large-scale fluid artwork.
Guided by Delvene, you'll explore the movement, colour and unpredictability of fluid art as you create a one-of-a-kind piece on a large canvas to take home.
Unlike traditional painting, there's no need to know how to draw, stay inside the lines or make your artwork look like anyone else's. You'll work with flowing paint and colour, watching your design shift and develop as you create.
Part of the fun is not knowing exactly how your finished piece will turn out.
Our workshops are intentionally kept small, giving you room to work, time to ask questions and plenty of guidance throughout the process.
Delvene will demonstrate the techniques before you begin and guide you as you create, while still giving you the freedom to choose your colours and make the finished artwork completely your own.
No painting or fluid art experience is necessary.
Your large canvas, paints and all materials and equipment needed to create your artwork are supplied.
As we're working with large canvases, this workshop is created at floor level, so you'll need to be comfortable getting down to the floor and moving around your canvas as you create.
You're welcome to BYO your favourite sip and snacks to enjoy while you create.
Come with a friend or come on your own. Give yourself an afternoon away from the usual routine, play with colour and enjoy creating something without worrying about getting it perfect.
You'll leave with a completely unique piece of artwork created by you, ready to bring a little colour into your home.
