Workshop Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to workshops and creative events booked through Southern Land Creatives.

By completing a workshop booking, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms & Conditions.

Workshop Bookings

Workshop places are limited and your place is confirmed once your booking and payment have been successfully completed.

Please ensure the information provided when booking is correct so that we can contact you regarding your workshop if required.

Where a booking is made on behalf of another participant, the person making the booking is responsible for ensuring the participant is aware of any relevant workshop information and requirements.

Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that life can be unpredictable. However, Southern Land Creatives is a small handmade business and materials are prepared and limited places reserved in advance for each workshop.

Cancellations made at least 48 hours before the workshop start time are eligible for a full refund or booking credit.

Cancellations made within 48 hours of the workshop start time are non-refundable, as materials, preparation and your place in the workshop have already been allocated.

If you are unable to attend due to illness or an urgent personal circumstance, please contact Southern Land Creatives as soon as possible. A transfer or booking credit may be offered at the discretion of Southern Land Creatives.

No-shows without notice are not eligible for a refund, credit or rebooking.

Nothing in these Terms & Conditions is intended to exclude any rights you may have under the Australian Consumer Law.

Cancellation or Changes by Southern Land Creatives

Southern Land Creatives reserves the right to cancel, postpone or reschedule a workshop if minimum participant numbers are not reached or due to circumstances outside our reasonable control.

If Southern Land Creatives cancels a workshop, participants will be offered a full refund or the option to transfer their booking to another available session.

If a workshop needs to be rescheduled, participants will be contacted using the details supplied at the time of booking and provided with the available options.

Workshop Participation & Safety

Participants are expected to follow reasonable instructions provided by Southern Land Creatives or the workshop facilitator, particularly when using tools, equipment or materials.

Some workshops may have specific age requirements, accessibility considerations or safety requirements. These will be outlined in the individual workshop listing where applicable.

Children attending workshops must meet the minimum age specified for that particular workshop.

Guest Facilitators

Some workshops at Southern Land Creatives are delivered by guest artists, makers or facilitators.

Workshop content, techniques and instruction may therefore vary depending on the facilitator. Unless otherwise stated at the time of booking, bookings made through Southern Land Creatives remain subject to these Workshop Terms & Conditions.

Materials & Finished Work

Materials included in each workshop will be described in the individual workshop listing.

Unless otherwise stated, participants may take home the items they create during the workshop. Tools, equipment and additional materials used during the session remain the property of Southern Land Creatives or the workshop facilitator.

Photography

Photos or short videos may occasionally be taken during workshops for use by Southern Land Creatives in promoting workshops, events and the handmade community.

Please let us know if you do not wish to appear in photographs or video.

Communications

We will use the contact details supplied with your booking to send information necessary to manage your workshop, including booking confirmations, reminders and important changes.

You may also be given the option to receive information about future workshops, in-store events, promotions and other creative opportunities from Southern Land Creatives. Promotional communications can be unsubscribed from at any time.

Changes to These Terms

Southern Land Creatives may update these Workshop Terms & Conditions from time to time. The terms applicable to your booking are those in effect at the time your booking is made.

Governing Law

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
